The method of using influencers on social media to support a brand, which in turn, helps to sell a product, has become many companies’ approach to making huge profit margins. Companies focus on reaching a targeted and concentrated audience using social media influencers.  This digital strategy is extremely important in this day-and-age because social media has the ability to immediately change a consumer's viewpoint. This organic style of marketing is a way for companies to build relationships with their customers while gaining new ones.  The strategic choice of utilizing influencer marketing is up-and-coming and has been predicted to surpass traditional marketing strategies. An Instagram page was set up to investigate the impact influencer marketing has on firms. By using data analysis tools to predict follower actions and best posting times, traction slowly began to occur and the social media page grew to over 14,500 followers in two years.  Companies began to pay and send free products, hoping to be posted about.  By posting one post for a t-shirt company, thread tanks, the post had attracted around 500 additional customers to their website.  This same scenario occurred numerous times with different companies.  This exhibits that people feel more connected to influencers than traditional advertisements, which is why influencer marketing attracts more customers than any other method.  The results of this experiment show the immense impact of influencer marketing on companies, further reinforcing its presence in today’s digital revolution.
